Disability Services Navigator


Collaborative Individual and Community Supports (CICS) is accepting applications for full-time Disability Services Navigators to be officed in Spencer, Iowa and Waverly, Iowa.

The purpose of the position is to utilize the Science of Hope and person-centered planning to perform the work of a disability services navigator who provides one or more of the following: HCBS System Navigation, Information and Assistance, Options Counseling, Service Coordination of Long-Term Services and Supports

A bachelor’s degree is preferred with 30 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in a human services field (including, but not limited to, psychology, social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, nursing, education, occupational therapy, and recreational therapy) and at least one year of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with disabilities.

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and adequate liability insurance are required. Background and criminal checks and a pre-employment will be completed. Competitive salary, insurance, retirement, vacation, and other PTO.

Travel is a required function of this job.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday


Work Location:
Waverly position requires coverage of and travel to Bremer, Fayette, and Chickasaw counties.
Spencer position requires coverage of and travel to Clay, Dickison, Emmett, and Palo Alto counties.

HOURLY RATE: From $28.86 per hour
